1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your name and email address to create and manage your account, and to send you service-related emails such as shift and assessment reminders that you have chosen to enable.

Content you create

The App lets you record study notes, medication references, formulas, flash cards, clinical reflections, placement goals, schedules, wellness entries, meal plans, and similar placement-related content. This content is linked to your account and stored on our servers so you can access it across devices. You may optionally attach files (such as images or documents) to certain records; these are stored to enable your use of the feature.

Payment information

Access to core features requires a one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not collect or store your card number or full payment credentials. Stripe provides us with a transaction identifier and customer identifier so we can confirm your access.

Usage and technical data

We collect basic analytics and log information needed to operate the App securely and reliably, such as authentication tokens and error logs. We do not track your location, and the App does not request GPS or location permissions.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate your sessions.
• To store, display, and sync the placement and study content you create.
• To send email reminders for shifts and assessments that you have explicitly enabled.
• To verify purchases and grant access to gated features.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To maintain and improve the App's performance and security.

3. Offline Access & Local Storage

You may choose to make reference materials available offline. When you do, selected content is copied to your device's local storage (IndexedDB) so you can read it without an internet connection. This data stays on your device until you clear it from the Offline Access screen or remove the App.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We share it only as necessary to provide the service:

• Stripe – processes your payment and shares back a confirmation of purchase.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers – store your account and content and deliver the App.
• Service providers – such as email delivery, used to send the reminders you enable.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the App's About screen ("Delete account permanently"), which removes your account and associated content. You may also contact us to request deletion.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can exercise most of these rights directly within the App, or by contacting us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for nursing and paramedic students and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you through the App.
